Beaches
- La Mer Autrement, a place suitable for everyone, is located on Plage de la Vignette, within the grounds of the Renée Sabran Hospital (1.5 km from the La Presqu’île de Giens campsite). - The designated beaches in the municipality of Hyères are: Plage de la Bergerie, Plage de l'Almanarre, Plage de l'Ayguade, and Plage des Salins.

- No, dogs are prohibited on all beaches on the Giens Peninsula;
- Plage du Mérou is dog-friendly, approximately 9 km from Camping La Presqu'île de Giens, between L'Ayguade and Les Salins;

- Almanarre (sand) at 1,200 m (west side);
- La Badine (sand) at 800 m (east side);
- Coves starting from 1,000 m away.
A free shuttle takes you to Almanarre beach in July-August, Monday to Friday (9.30 to 12.30 am and 2.30 to 6.30 pm), every 10 minutes. In case of strong wind, you’ll be taken to La Bergerie, on the East side. On Tuesday morning, the shuttle takes you to the village market in Giens (8.30 to 12.30 am).
Bikes – Cycle paths
- Yes. A portion of one cycle path connects the campsite to Almanarre beach (1200 m west side).

Camping spots
- The campsite has two slow charging points for electric vehicles;
- This free service is available to guests only, upon request at the reception desk;
- Note: Remember to bring your own charging cable (adapted to your vehicle);
- It is strictly forbidden to charge your electric vehicle from your pitch or accommodation.
- Yes of course! The campsite has two private areas dedicated to people with reduced mobility in toilet blocks no. 1 and no. 3 (key given on arrival against a deposit).
- We allocate pitches according to the availability of our schedule and the requests made when booking, always with the aim of satisfying you.
The pitches for caravans, motorhomes, or vans are located in two areas:
- Les Cardinals, flat access, close to the swimming pool;
- Muscats and Carignans, access on a false flat uphill and very slight slope.
No. Water points are available next to the sanitary facilities.
Yes. A terminal is located near each pitch (conventional or European sockets). To be comfortable, provide a 5-m-extension and a power strip. We provide adapters if needed, within the limit of available stock.
No, it's up to everyone to bring their own toilet paper.
The campsite has 4 sanitary blocks equipped with crockery and laundry tubs, toilets, sinks and individual cabins (shower or shower + sink and undressing area). Two blocks have a nursery (WC, showers, baths and changing tables).
Due to the vegetation, the pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes on the campsite have an average surface area of 70 to 80 m² (parking included).
Generally not. Yes, only in certain cases, after validation by our services.
No. 1 camping pitch = 1 vehicle.
Yes for caravan pitches, no for tent pitches, located in a pedestrian area not accessible to cars and trailers (parking nearby; 40 m maximum).
You can mention your preferences when making your reservation (for example: being close to the swimming pool or the playground, quiet, close to services, sunny, shaded location, close to your friends, another family...). When possible, the campsite will assign you the location that best suits your needs.
Yes, but beware of the limited stock (reservation recommended). The option is billed at € 5 per night (delivery of the fridge to your pitch on arrival, deposit of € 30).
Only electric barbecues and planchas are authorized, which are not available for rental.
- Yes, except for Category 1 and 2 dogs;
- This is a paid option, charged per night (See the price list, available to download on the Practical Information page);
- Tattoos or microchips are required;
- Up-to-date vaccinations are strongly recommended;
- Dogs must be kept on a leash within the campsite and must be taken outside the campsite for their hygiene walk;
- Please note: animals are not allowed in the Océane with Private Spa mobile homes and are prohibited on the beaches on the Giens Peninsula (see the "Beaches" section of the FAQ for more information);
- It is strictly forbidden to leave your pet alone in your vehicle, on your pitch, or in your accommodation;
- In rental accommodations: a maximum of 1 pet per rental accommodation (maximum weight: 23 kg); 2 pets are allowed if their combined weight does not exceed 23 kg (please contact us if applicable; this option is payable for each pet).
Entertainment
During your stay on the Giens Peninsula, you can take advantage of the services offered by two associations:
- La Mer Autrement, a place accessible to all, located on Vignette Beach, within the grounds of the Renée Sabran Hospital (1.5 km from Camping La Presqu’île de Giens); the site features a relaxation area and offers adapted water sports. - The association Un Fauteuil à la Mer offers adapted boat trips for people with disabilities and their companions, between June and September. - Your vacation schedule will be available 14 days before your arrival on the campsite's mobile app (the link to your account will be sent to you by email).
- During your stay, the schedule is visible on the notice boards throughout the campsite.
Unfortunately not. Night shows are scheduled from mid-June to mid-September, and sports activities only in July-August.
Dance evenings are organized during the high season, featuring live concerts.
A child care (for children ages 4 to 8) is open Monday to Friday in July and August. Variable hours. Free service upon registration (limited spaces).
No, there’s only a childcare (for children aged 4 to 8).
Playground – Sport activities
No, but there are many courts within a 3km radius.
Playground is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The playground has a play module for toddlers (1 to 3 years old) with a slide, and a structure for children from 4 to 12 years old (NB: the presence of an adult is compulsory for supervision ).
- Yes, more specifically, it's a volleyball court with a height-adjustable net for various alternative tournaments (badminton, tennis, etc.);
- In addition, there's a basketball area (2-on-2) with 1 racket and 1 basket, as well as several floor designs for various activities offered throughout the summer;
- This same court is also used during high season for some children's shows and movie screenings (with bleachers and a white screen).
Porquerolles – Port Cros – Le Levant (The Golden Islands)
Yes, only on Porquerolles, for a supplement of around € 17 per bike. Rental possible on site, in the village.

No. In accordance with the internal regulations, minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal representative during their entire stay.
Yes. NB: Visitors not staying overnight will have to pay a daily tax of € 6.
Please note: visitors are not allowed to access the water park.
Yes. The restaurant and mini-market are easily accessible. We have 2 adapted accommodations (Helios category). The water park is equipped with a swimming pool lift allowing the transfer from the wheelchair to the pool. Parking spaces, adapted toilets, private spaces in the toilets.
Do not panic! A night auditor will guide you to your pitch or your accommodation.
In order to preserve the tranquility of your nights, campsite entrance gates are closed from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. (from midnight to 7 a.m. in July-August).
Bus line 67 runs between Hyères (town center and SNCF train station) and La Tour Fondue, bus-stop "Badine", 100 m from Campsite La Presqu’île de Giens.
In addition to the Vival mini-market located in the campsite, you will find hypermarkets and supermarkets within a 10 km-radius, in the town of Hyères: Auchan, Carrefour Market, Chronodrive, Grand Frais, Intermarché (+drive), Leclerc, Lidl, etc.
A market takes place every day in the area (Tuesday in Giens, Sunday in the Port of Hyères, etc.). Local markets are mentioned in the welcome booklet given on arrival and on the campsite's mobile application.
In addition to the free ‘basic’ Wi-Fi with limited bandwidth, suitable for moderate use (emails, instant messaging, social media feeds), several packages are available for purchase (prices displayed at reception, for example: 1 day = €3, 7 days = €9, Family Pack 4x14 days = €42).
Only electric barbecues and planchas are authorized, which are not available for rental.
Yes. It is open every day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Prices (laundry included): € 6 for 6 kg, € 9 for 10 kg, € 2 for the dryer.
Yes, during all your stay; it allows us to ensure that all the people benefiting from the services of the campsite are really residents of it.

The booking conditions can be downloaded and attached to the reservation contract, upon signature of which they are deemed to have been accepted. As part of an internet reservation (which is equivalent to a contract), they must be checked before proceeding to the payment stage.
No. The campsite is generally open from the beginning of April to the beginning of November.
We intentionally do not display the campsite map on our website. It will be given to you on arrival.

Rentals (Mobile homes, Chalets and Canvas Lodge)
Yes, but the "hydromassage boost" function is deactivated between 11 p.m. and 9 a.m. to preserve nighttime tranquility.
The OCEANE SPA mobile home is rented for 4 people, including children and babies. The spa is well-suited for four people.
The spa temperature is set, for everyone's comfort, between approximately 37 and 39°C depending on the season.

The canvas lodges are located near a sanitary block and have a small equipped kitchen (See the page), but no sink nor bathroom or WC.

- Upon arrival (or before, via the Swikly application), a total deposit of €300 per accommodation is required (€500 for the OCEANE SPA). Bank cards are accepted, except Amex. NB: cash deposits are not accepted. This will be returned on the day of departure if the rental is returned in a perfectly clean condition and no damage has been noted after the inventory.
- Cleaning fees may be deducted from the deposit if this has not been carried out at the end of the stay, namely €100 per accommodation (€200 for the RIVIERA, PACIFIC and PROVENCE, €300 for OCEANE SPA categories).
- If damage is noted, the amount will be deducted from the deposit if it does not exceed €300, or the actual amount, in all cases after receipt of a supplier quote made available to the customer.

All common food products, groceries, fresh fruit and vegetables, bread and pastries, drugstore, beach items, local products, newspapers, souvenirs.
The mini market is open from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. in July-August).
